Huaneng Puts into Operation World's First Plateau High-Altitude 5MW Commercial-Grade Perovskite PV Demonstration Base

On August 23, China Huaneng completed the construction and put into operation the world's first 5MW commercial-grade perovskite photovoltaic (PV) demonstration base in the Gonghe PV Industrial Park, Qinghai Province.
On August 23, China Huaneng completed the construction and put into operation the world's first 5MW commercial-grade perovskite photovoltaic (PV) demonstration base in the Gonghe PV Industrial Park, Qinghai Province. This marks the advancement of China's perovskite PV technology from the laboratory stage to large-scale demonstration application.
The project adopts advanced PV modules and will verify the power generation performance and reliability of advanced perovskite PV under the environment of strong ultraviolet radiation and high irradiation, supporting the iterative upgrading of China's perovskite PV technology.
China Huaneng will further build a perovskite PV system integrating "technology R&D, technical services, and achievement transformation", contribute to the construction of the group's new energy large-scale bases, build a "national team" for perovskite PV technological research, and support the high-quality development of the national PV industry.(Zhao Dongming, Liu Xiang)
