From November 11 to 15, the 4th Power Industry Digital Teaching Application Competition, hosted by the China Electricity Council and the China Electric Power Education Association and undertaken by State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company, was successfully held at the Shandong Electric Power Craftsman College.
Pan Li, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Electricity Council and President of the China Electric Power Education Association; Sun Xuri, Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company; Wu Pengfei, Vice President of the Party School (Education and Training Center) of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd.; and Gao Kai, Vice President of the Party School of China Huadian Group Co., Ltd., attended the event.
Pan Li pointed out that since the launch of the competition, the China Electricity Council has always adhered to the purpose of promoting learning through competitions, promoting training through competitions, and promoting integration through competitions, and has actively built an industry platform for exchange, mutual learning and collaborative innovation. At present, under the background of global energy transformation, the accelerated construction of China’s new energy system and new power system has put forward new and higher requirements for the energy and power industry. Faced with the new situation, new tasks and new requirements, all power enterprises should further build consensus, work hand in hand, and jointly write a new chapter in the training of technical and skilled talents in the power industry.
This competition attracted 264 entries from 48 units including power enterprises, power colleges and universities, and provincial industry associations, including 216 digital micro-lecture works and 48 digital training course works. Among the digital training course works, 1 work from State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company won the Special Award, 5 works from units including State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. won the First Prize, 10 works from units including Inner Mongolia Power (Group) Co., Ltd. won the Second Prize, 15 works from units including State Grid Henan Electric Power Company won the Third Prize, and 10 works from units including State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company won the Best Individual Award. Among the digital micro-lecture works, 22 works from units including State Grid Shandong Electric Power Company won the First Prize, 44 works from units including Guizhou Power Grid Co., Ltd. won the Second Prize, 65 works from units including State Grid Sichuan Electric Power Company won the Third Prize, and 20 works from units including Inner Mongolia Electric Power School won the Best Individual Award.
To further promote the transformation of competition results and exchange and mutual learning, on November 17, the 4th Power Industry Technical and Skilled Training Experience Exchange Meeting and the 4th Power Industry Digital Teaching Application Competition Achievement Exchange Meeting were held consecutively. During the competition achievement exchange session, participants visited the exhibition of winning works of the 4th Power Industry Digital Teaching Application Competition and various technological innovation achievements on site, experienced digital teaching equipment and new training technologies at close range, and felt the cutting-edge trends of power education and training.
The holding of this competition has built a cooperation platform for in-depth exchange and resource sharing in the industry, further promoted the improvement of the digital teaching resource development capacity of the power industry, and is of great significance for encouraging the industry to widely apply digital technologies and means, striving to build a knowledge-based, skilled and innovative team of high-quality skilled talents, and continuously promoting the high-quality development of the power industry.
