The Paper learned that the "Power Market Construction and Supervision Sub-forum" of the 2025 International Energy Transition Forum was held in Suzhou on October 23.

The meeting pointed out that China's power market construction has achieved remarkable results after a decade of deepening reform, initially establishing a multi-level unified market system covering inter-provincial, regional and provincial levels. Facing the common task of global energy transition, all parties agreed that exploring power market construction and supervision models adapted to the new situation is a major issue for all countries. In the future, while accelerating the construction of a national unified power market, it is necessary to continuously strengthen international cooperation and rule mutual learning, fully absorb advanced international experience, improve regulatory coordination, enhance regulatory efficiency, and contribute to promoting energy green transition and building a new power system.
