He Baoxiang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Executive Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), attended the forum and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the power industry is a pacesetter in fulfilling the "dual carbon" goals and a main force in promoting the green energy transition. This forum conforms to the trend of the times and responds to national strategic needs. Angela Wilkinson, Secretary-General and Chief Executive Officer of the World Energy Council, delivered a video speech. She pointed out that the World Energy Council attaches great importance to the progress made by China in energy transition. China currently accounts for 74% of the world's total under-construction photovoltaic and wind power projects, exceeding the sum of all other countries. This scale has brought China opportunities for developing a circular economy—embedding reuse, zero waste, and closed-loop value chains into the core of energy growth and transition. She hoped to work with China to participate in global energy governance, formulate a global inclusive agenda on energy, and lead all countries towards a green development future.

Pang Xiaogang, Director, General Manager, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of State Grid Corporation of China, stated in his keynote speech that State Grid has always regarded serving the carbon peak and carbon neutrality as an important political task, coordinated development and security, coordinated supply guarantee and transition, accelerated the construction of a new power system, and promoted the green and low-carbon transformation of energy. Andri Doni, Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Electrical Power Association, delivered a keynote speech on Indonesia's power implementation plan to achieve the 2060 net-zero emission target. He pointed out that Indonesia has formulated the "Renewable Energy Acceleration Development Plan" to meet power demand through clean energy. It plans to add 69.5GW of installed power generation capacity during 2025-2034, of which renewable energy will account for 61% of the new installed power generation capacity. At the same time, it will solve the problem of regional mismatch between supply and demand by building a green super grid, and plans to add about 48,000 kilometers of transmission lines during 2025-2034.

Laszlo Deak, Director of International Relations of the Hungarian Electrotechnical Association, stated in his keynote speech that by 2030, the total investment in clean energy infrastructure in Hungary will be about 12-13.5 billion euros, of which about 7 billion euros will be invested in energy storage, photovoltaic and wind power. Photovoltaic power generation has become the largest power source in Europe, accounting for 22% of the power structure, but Europe still faces enormous challenges in achieving the 2030 photovoltaic power generation installed capacity target. The key lies in rapidly expanding the scale of battery energy storage and comprehensively improving system flexibility.

At this forum, the China Electricity Council released achievements such as "Carbon Footprint Certification for Power Equipment Products", "Zero-Carbon Park Certification", "2024 Research on China's Power Carbon Footprint Factors", "Power Carbon Footprint Standards", and "Carbon Emission Indicators for Power Grid Engineering Construction". These achievements concentratedly demonstrated a number of the latest practical results obtained by the China Electricity Council in firmly implementing the national "dual carbon" strategy and coordinating and leading the construction of the carbon footprint management system in the power industry, reflecting the positive results achieved by China's energy and power industry enterprises in serving the "dual carbon" goals and promoting green and low-carbon transformation and development.

At the forum, the China Electricity Council, together with Beijing Power Exchange Center, Guangzhou Power Exchange Center, Inner Mongolia Power Exchange Center, and HydroChina Corporation, jointly released the "2025 Top 100 Chinese Enterprises in Green Power Consumption". Based on true and reliable green power consumption data, the list covers industries such as energy, petrochemical, steel, manufacturing, science and technology, and service industries. Through the green practices of leading enterprises in various industries, it promotes the green development achievements of enterprises, stimulates the green consumption vitality of enterprises, and encourages and promotes the whole society to practice green consumption.

The forum officially released the China Power Generation Natural Gas Price Index (CEGI) compiled by the China Electricity Council. As the first domestic power generation natural gas price index, it fills the gap in this field, marks the further improvement of China's power fuel price index system, and helps promote the healthy and sustainable development of the natural gas power generation industry.

The forum also released the "2025 New Power System Development (Chongli) Forum Proceedings and Case Collection". The included achievements are technologically advanced and have remarkable application effects, covering multiple cutting-edge directions such as integrated energy, digital intelligence, key power grid technologies, power markets, and management innovation.
