From November 18 to 20, the 32nd China International Power Equipment and Technology Exhibition (known as “EP Exhibition”) was successfully held in Shanghai. Hosted by the China Electricity Council (CEC), the exhibition was themed “Digital Intelligence Empowering the New Ecology of Source-Grid-Load-Storage.” It focused on industry hotspots such as new energy development during the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, source-grid-load-storage integration, digitalization, intelligence, and low-carbonization. The event showcased innovative achievements of leading enterprises and provided an international platform for the transformation and upgrading of the power industry and the construction of a modern energy system

Opening Ceremony
On November 18, Xin Bao’an, Chairman of CEC, presided over the opening ceremony. As the largest international brand exhibition in China’s power industry, the EP Exhibition has always been guided by the principles of green and low-carbon development. It showcases cutting-edge achievements in the energy and power sector, supports the upgrading and innovation of key technologies, promotes the digitalization and intelligence of power systems, and explores new ideas, paths, and methods for digital intelligence to empower the construction of a new power system.
Covering a total area of 75,000 square meters, the exhibition reached a new record. It featured special zones for power intelligent manufacturing, new energy, energy digitalization, international energy storage technology applications, and hydrogen-electricity integration. More than 2,000 leading enterprises from over ten countries and regions participated, including China Southern Power Grid, China Electrical Equipment Corporation, NARI Group, Chint, Huawei, Unitree, ABB, Siemens, and Eaton. The exhibition promoted global collaboration in the power industry chain and accelerated the construction of a new power system.
Parallel Events and International Participation
Over thirty professional conferences were held alongside the exhibition, focusing on topics such as digital empowerment for new power systems, hydrogen-electricity integration, source-grid-load-storage integration, power transmission and distribution technologies, power digitalization, applications for high-energy-consuming end-users, overseas market expansion, zero-carbon park construction, microgrids, and virtual power plants. The conferences attracted users from sectors including power, energy storage, hydrogen-electricity integration, petrochemicals, municipal administration, hospitals, data centers, and green factories.
Industry organizations and procurement delegations from Belarus, Bhutan, Brazil, Colombia, India, Indonesia, Iran, South Korea, the Philippines, Russia, Thailand, and other countries and regions visited the exhibition to conduct business negotiations with participating enterprises.

The three-day event attracted more than 70,000 domestic and international professional visitors, creating a high-quality platform for in-depth exchanges, cross-industry integration, and collaborative development.
